Pacfic Men’s Soccer Defeats Saint Mary’s

On Saturday, April 3rd, behind a strong 3-goal first half, the Pacifc Tigers Men’s Soccer team upsets previously undefeated #20 Saint Mary’s Gaels holding onto a 3-2 win. It was the final home game of the season. 

This was the team’s first win in program history against Saint Mary’s.

The Tigers’ goals were scored in the first half of the game by Rapaport (16th), Roque (24th), and Omri (26th) minutes. 

The Tigers’ current record stands at 2-7 for the season. 

The team will be playing a season finale match against Gonzaga on April 18th, which was moved from the original scheduled Sunday, April 11th. The change in date was due to COVID-19  concerns. 

“Out of an abundance of caution and consideration for the safety of student-athletes and staff, the Pacific men's soccer team's upcoming season finale against Gonzaga has officially been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns within the Bulldog program,” read a statement from the Pacific Tigers website. 
The match will take place at Luger Field in Spokane, Washington. Kickoff is slated for 12:00 pm PST.
