Kara’s other involvements on campus include Pacific Humanities Scholars & Sigma Tau Delta.

She loves to read and write, hence the English major, but she also enjoys knitting and sewing in her free time. She is a huge fantasy lover and avid period TV show watcher.

She is a cat mom of 3, a professional ballet dancer with Central West Ballet in Modesto, CA, and has been dancing for seventeen years now.

When asked about what she looks forward to about being a part of The Pacifican this year, she said “I am greatly looking forward to helping rebuild The Pacifican and hopefully see it grow as a student-run newspaper.”
